Serge Nassif: NCP Scholar 2018

Serge Nassif studied a Bachelor of Commerce with the degree of Bachelor of Laws at Macquarie University between 2015-2019. He was selected as an NCP Scholar in 2018.

How did your NCP Scholarship program enhance your degree here at Macquarie University?

As a recent graduate from Macquarie University, I look back at my university experience with fond memories. The highlight of this time was undoubtedly my exchange semester in Bangalore, India, facilitated through the New Colombo Plan Scholarship.

How did your NCP Scholarship program experience broaden your horizons?

This program allowed me to expand my international experience, as I gained first-hand exposure to a foreign approach to learning and professional work, through an internship at a law firm. I was also able to immerse myself in a foreign culture, engaging in a range of cultural events and [over]indulging in exquisite local food.

Being an NCP Scholar who completed the program, what part of the program left the biggest impact on you?

Ultimately, I am most grateful for the relationships that I established during this process – these connections contributed to the success of my program, and have continued to be a valuable part of my personal and professional network beyond university level.
