Request, pay and collect your academic transcript
An academic transcript is a certified record of your full enrolment history at Macquarie University.
This includes all courses attempted, results received, and awards conferred. Your academic transcript cannot be altered or separated (eg. between different undergraduate and postgraduate degrees).
Your academic transcript lists:
- units and programs you have enrolled in
- all units and course you have attempted
- grades received
- details of your qualified and completed courses
All students and graduates can order physical copies of your official transcript, and most can also order a digital copy.
A physical copy of your transcript is included in your graduation documents. Graduates since 2020 also receive a digital copy.
To ensure an academic transcript's authenticity:
- physical transcripts are always printed on secure University paper
- digital transcripts are held in the secure platform, My eQuals.
Refunds
We are unable to issue refunds for transcript purchases, including incorrect orders and change-of-mind requests.
Transcripts contain information that is available and accurate at the time of printing.
A simple way to know which Transcript ordering process you should follow is to first check if your Macquarie student number is an active OneID.
- Visit the OneID Login page to check your OneID/student number
- Enter your OneID and password
Result | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
You log in successfully, OR | You have an active OneID | Follow the student from 2008 onwards process |
You see a “user not found” message | You do not have an active OneID | Follow the pre-2008 student process |
If you:
- studied at any time from 2008 onwards and don’t remember your password, contact the IT Service Desk
- don’t remember your Macquarie student number/OneID, check your offer letter or previous transcript
- are still unable to locate it, contact Service Connect at +61 (2) 9850 6410.
Once you understand your start date, select from the appropriate tab below to proceed.
Timing
Transcripts cannot be ordered in advance – they are processed at the time of request.
If you order your transcript before the result release date for a study period, any units enrolled in that study period will be shown as ‘Enrolled’.
1. Check your unofficial transcript
Before ordering an official transcript, we strongly recommend checking your unofficial transcript in eStudent to ensure it contains the most up-to-date information.
To access your unofficial transcript
- Log in to eStudent
- Click on the My Study tab
- Select Manage My Course
- From the Self Service Reports menu, request your Academic Transcript
Your unofficial transcript will be sent to your student email.
If your recent units are not yet updated and are missing from your transcript, we are unable to provide a refund once the order is placed.
2. Check you have no active sanctions
Active financial or USI sanctions will prevent your transcript from processing. Before you order an official transcript, please check you do not have any active sanctions in eStudent.
To check your account for sanctions:
- Log into eStudent
- Navigate to the My Details tab
- Click on Sanctions on the left-hand side
Please clear any active sanctions prior to requesting your transcript.

- Please read the form carefully and complete all required steps.
