University life & support mentoring
Programs that connect you with mentors – peers, staff, or professionals – to help you navigate university life, build skills, and access academic or personal support.
Peer mentoring for MRes and PhD students to connect with fellow researchers, share experience and build a supportive research community.
Delivered by the Graduate Research Academy, this program is for Master of Research (MRes) & PhD students.

One-to-one mentoring with an academic mentor from your home faculty/department, working towards skills-based improvement and career development.
This program, delivered by the School of Psychological Sciences, caters for students (any faculty) from:
- refugee or asylum-seeking backgrounds
- first-in-family university study
- restarting study in Australia, or
- navigating disadvantage at university.
