Access disability support and services

If you have a disability and/or health condition, you can access our assistance services to support your study life at Macquarie.

Our student services may be affected at short notice due to COVID.  We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause - we will always work to minimise any disruption to our students.

Study Disruption

Talk to someone: Submit a CARE report to Student Wellbeing at Macquarie.

The Accessibility Service allows you to meet with a member of the Accessibility team who can:

  • assess your needs and identify what support you may need at the University
  • work with you and your faculty to determine the reasonable adjustments to assist you to meet the inherent requirements
  • provide guidance regarding other study options in the case where it is determined that inherent requirements cannot be met with reasonable adjustments.

Disability practitioners and support staff work closely with other key departments within the University to implement reasonable adjustments and to raise awareness and understanding of disability issues with all students and staff.
