Macquarie University International High School Scholarship
Macquarie has long been a proud recipient of International School Graduates across China. The unique blend of experience students of International Schools receive as part of their education has proven time and again to serve them well when embarking upon their international University studies.
To acknowledge the excellence of Chinese International High School graduates, a once-off scholarship of AU$10,000 will be provided towards their first year tuition fees (AU$5,000 will be credited each session in the first year of studies).
Minimum Requirements
Assessment of applicants will be based on academic performance and English ability. To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the minimum requirements listed below. Applicants will then be ranked by their competitiveness in both criteria.

Eligibility Criteria
- Be a citizen of China.
- Meet the Academic and English requirements for a Macquarie University Bachelor Coursework Degree.
- Receive an ATAR equivalent of 85.
- Be accepted into a Macquarie University Bachelor Coursework Degree commencing in 2020 or 2021.
- Complete an International High School qualification in China (includes GCE A-Levels, International Baccalaureate, Australian High School Qualification, Canadian High School Qualification, or USA High School Qualification).
Conditions
- Enrol and begin your course as per your Letter of Offer.
- Maintain your enrolment throughout your course in a full-time study load which is 8 standard units per academic year.
- Meet the University's Academic Progression Policy.
- If you withdraw from your program before completion, you may be required to repay any scholarship previously awarded to you during your study period at Macquarie University based on the outcome as decided by the scholarships and grants committee.
How to apply
- Applicants must complete an online course application form. Once your course application has been processed, you will receive a Macquarie University Student Number which is compulsory to submit the online scholarship application form.
- Applicants must complete an online scholarship application form and type “International High School Scholarship" in the Scholarship Name field.
