Career services for graduates
Getting your foot in the door can be tough, especially if it is your first job. To help you find the best career opportunities, you have access to the Career and Employment Service for up to 12 months after your graduation.
You can also register as an alumni through Employability Connect to access Macquarie's career services, including:
- employment opportunities (casual, graduate, internship, and volunteer roles)
- career events (career fairs, interview and resume writing workshops)
- career information (presentations from past employers, sample resumes, and fact sheets)
Student Employment Service (MQSE)
Macquarie Student Employment (MQSE) helps students and recent graduates become job-ready and facilitates paid employment opportunities on and off campus.
Visit MyMQ Career Zone to access resources including resume builders, interview and job search tips and CV360 – a powerful tool offering instant, detailed feedback so you can optimise your CV and significantly boost your chances of getting to interview.
Career Advantage MQ Program
If you graduated more than 12 months ago, you can access the Career Advantage MQ program for a special alumni price of $240. This vocational service is delivered by Masters of Organisational Psychology provisional psychologists (supervised by endorsed organisational psychologists) using the latest career assessment tools to help you plan your career based on your unique strengths and weaknesses.

International students
