Central Courtyard accommodation

Opened in early 2021 our Central Courtyard Accommodation is the only accommodation managed and operated by Macquarie University. The accommodation is located in the heart of the campus, so you can get to your lectures in just a few minutes. Apartments are made up of either six, four or twin rooms with shared, high-quality kitchen and living spaces. One bedroom and studio apartments are available for those who want a little more independence.

As a resident, you will have special access to amazing events and facilities that include study spaces, common rooms, game facilities and outdoor terrace areas with barbecues. With utilities and wi-fi included in your rent, you won’t have to worry about extra costs and can instead focus on enjoying your time at Macquarie.

Our number one goal is looking after our residents’ wellbeing. At times it can be daunting being away from home and the pressure can be overwhelming. During your stay you will have access to a wide range of campus support services, our team can assist you with this and provide you with details on who to contact and where they are located. To ensure your safety we provide 24/7 on site security with CCTV and patrolling officers during your stay.

Residential Life events

Our Residential Life team host a range of events throughout the year. Some examples for this year have included Speed Friending, Trivia nights, Zumba classes, cooking competitions, campus walks – there is sure to be something you will like!
