Accessing Zoom
As students at Macquarie, you will be able to participate in a Zoom meeting or schedule and host your own Zoom meeting by signing into Zoom using your Macquarie Student OneID. If you try to access a Macquarie hosted Zoom meeting with an account other than your Macquarie account, you will not be able to join the meeting.
You will be prompted to download the Zoom software, which will only take a minute. To sign in to your zoom desktop app, click the "Sign in with SSO" option and sign in with your OneID credentials after entering "macquarie" as the company domain. You will have access to a licensed Zoom account where you can hold online meetings with up to 300 participants with no time limitation.
By logging onto Zoom, you agree to comply with the Macquarie University Acceptable Use Policy.
Visit the Zoom Support page for more information on using Zoom.
