Student Unit Representative

A Unit Representative is a representative for the Macquarie Business School/Faculty of Business and Economic units.

"This activity has been approved to be recognised on AHEGS as of October 2018. No retrospective recognition will be made prior to this approval date."

AHEGS qualification criteria

Students are required to:

  • Attend a 2-hour compulsory training workshop
  • Attend at least 1 social event
  • Complete 2 written group reports on the student learning experience
  • Meet with their Department Rep at least twice a semester to discuss and plan collection of student feedback
  • Commit to at least 1 hour a week, during semester to engage peers in the unit on discussions on the student learning experience, through either face to face conversations, questionnaires or digital conversations
