We encourage our staff and students to help identify risk for the safety of their colleagues and peers.

This page is for students, staff and members of the public to report risk and safety incidents (formerly known as ROAR).

If you have a concern about a risk, hazard, near-miss or incident, you can report it online and someone will be in touch to clarify and confirm next steps.

At Macquarie University, all staff and students need to be involved in identifying risk and managing safety. Reporting your concerns to our advisory teams helps us make informed decisions across the organisation.

The University has implemented online reporting to support staff, students and members of the public to report hazards, near miss incidents, injuries or illness and insurance incidents.
