Your identity on campus

Follow these instructions to gain access to your eStudent profile and your campus card.

eStudent

eStudent is the online facility you will use to update your personal details, complete online eCAF (Commonwealth Assistance Form) for FEE-HELP, and view and pay any outstanding debts. You are required to review the information in eStudent regularly to ensure the details reflect your current candidature status and you have no outstanding fees.

Logging into eStudent:

  1. Enter your student ID.
  2. Enter your password. If you have not activated your Student ID yet, click First-time login? Activate your Student ID in the new window before logging in to eStudent.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required to log in to eStudent when you are NOT on the Macquarie University campus network. Find out more and how to set up multi-factor authentication for MQ systems.

Campus cards

All candidates require a campus card. Your student ID number is imprinted on the card and you should quote it in all communications with the University.

The campus card is also your Library Card you should carry it with you whenever you are on campus. If you lose your campus card, you can replace it for a fee.

Obtaining a campus card

  • New Macquarie students: visit the campus card page.
  • Prior Macquarie students: if you were studying at Macquarie last year, you do not need to get a new campus card.
