Transcript blackout period

Transcripts will be unavailable between 26 November and 5 December for Session 2 2024. Processing will resume on Friday 6 December 2024.

This is the period when exam and end of session results are being entered into the system and transcripts are not able to be produced for students enrolled in Session 2 2024. If you need a letter to explain to a third party why you can’t obtain a transcript during this period, you can obtain a Blackout Period Letter.

Alumni and Students not enrolled in S2 2024 units

Transcripts are available for alumni and students not enrolled in Session 2 units. Please submit your request using the Transcript Payment form.

Qualifying Students

If you intend to qualify for your degree at the close of Session 2 2024, after results release, check your unofficial academic transcript from Friday 6 December to make sure your transcript information is up to date before you request an official academic transcript. All requests for official academic transcripts will be taken at face value and no refunds will be available if you did not check first using an unofficial transcript. If you need a letter to explain to a third party why you can’t obtain a transcript, you can obtain a Blackout Period Letter.

The academic transcript lists:

  • units and programs a student has enrolled in
  • all units they have attempted
  • grades received.

An official academic transcript is always printed on secured University paper. As part of your graduation documents, one copy is included.

Before you apply

Here are some things to be mindful of before applying for a transcript:

  • If you order your transcript before the result release date for a session, any units enrolled for that session will just be shown as 'enrolled'
  • Transcripts cannot be ordered in advance – they are processed at the time of request
  • If you want to nominate someone to collect your transcript, they will need to provide an official form of photo identification at the time of collection (eg driver licence or passport)

To be eligible you must:

  • have no outstanding sanctions
  • have at least one recorded grade

If you studied with us prior to 2008  – request your transcript.

If you studied at the Sydney Kindergarten Teachers College (SKTC), Nursery School Teachers College (NSTC), or Institute of Early Childhood Studies (IECS) prior to 1990, your transcripts may also take longer to process.
