Ground Floor spaces and services

Whether you need Service Connect, IT Services, or a space to study or conduct group work, the Ground Floor 18 Wally's Walk has plenty to offer students.

This is a place where you can:

  • recharge your device
  • connect to the University's wired internet
  • have a vigorous debate over the content of your group project
  • find a quiet corner to escape your hectic day for an hour or so
  • meet with your student club
  • eat lunch in the comfort of air-conditioning

Service Connect

Ground Floor, 18 Wally's Walk is home to Service Connect, your first stop for study administrative and coursework enquiries.

You can speak to our staff to help with your enquiries about:

  • enrolment support
  • submitting online forms and using the Service Connect Portal
  • accessing coursework information
  • transcripts and campus cards
  • as well many other questions you may have about your study life at Macquarie.

Service Connect is open 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

TechBar - IT Service Desk

The TechBar is your first point of contact at Macquarie for all IT support for both students and staff.

Internet

Printing

iPrint lets you print from anywhere connected to the Internet and pick up from multiple locations on campus, anytime you like.

Just tap your Campus Card (or other authorised card) at any iPrinter to collect your documents.

Large flat-screen monitors

There are also many flatscreen monitors ready for you to plug your laptop straight in!

The monitors are great for group work, or when you want to see something on a big screen. All you need is an HDMI port on your laptop and a cable.

You will find toilets, vending machines, water stations, and microwaves in this space.
