Helping you transition into uni life

The Peer Mentor Program provides information tailored to first year, first session students.

Peer Mentor Program

Our Peer Mentors are senior students from different faculties who can help you to settle in and adjust to uni life during your first six weeks of study.

They provide regular support and advice, while helping you to:

  • Navigate the learning environment, processes and systems.
  • Meet new people and build your own networks at Macquarie.
  • Stay informed and understand how to access the support services available at Macquarie.
  • Find answers to questions and feel empowered to succeed academically and socially.

If you are a first year student and you missed the Peer Mentor application dates and would like some extra support and guidance for your first session at university, please contact Service Connect as your first point of contact for any queries.

Applications to match with a Peer Mentor are now open, closing at the end of Week 2.
