Confirm your enrolment status
A status letter (sometimes referred to as a "holiday letter") confirms your current enrolment status and can be used for identification purposes.
Domestic students
Domestic students can use the letter as proof of enrolment at organisations such as:
- Centrelink
- banks
- gyms
- other service providers.
The letter will include your:
- personal details
- course
- major or specialisation (if applicable)
- your commencement date (year and study period)
- study loads for Centrelink
- nominated session you expect to complete (if a Qualification Check has been done)
International students
International students can use the letter as proof of enrolment:
- to apply for a student visa
- invite family to visit in Australia
- for service providers such as banks or gyms.
You can use a status letter in conjunction with the confirmation of enrolment (CoE).
If you are an international student, your status letter will include:
- your name
- your course
- your major or specialisation (if applicable)
- your commencement date (year and study period)
- whether you are full-fee paying or on a scholarship
- your study load (full-time)
- nominated session you expect to complete (if a Qualification Check has been done)
How to request at Status Letter
Current students can generate a Status Letter via eStudent:
- Log in to eStudent
- Click on the 'Forms' tile
- Select ‘Status Letter Request’
- Click on ‘Fill Out’ button
- Select your admitted course
- Press ‘Submit’
Your Status Letter will be sent to your student email account, please allow an hour for this process.
