Submit a reportAt Macquarie we all have the right to work, study and live in an environment where we feel safe and treated with respect.
Macquarie University is a large and diverse community, with people who have different expectations and experiences, and this can result in not all interactions being ideal.
These situations can often be resolved directly, and respectfully, so we remind you that students, staff and visitors need to treat each other with courtesy and consideration.
Some situations may mean speaking directly to the person who is not behaving appropriately, and sometimes it may require the university to take steps to remind them.
The information below will help you understand how to address the issue, and where the University can take action.
The University can only take action regarding events that are related to the university environment, and activities related to your studies (this includes all university-related activities).
You may be referred to external organisations if events happened outside the University environment and activities.
