Communicating confidently

If you're an international student, join us at the English Speaking Club to improve your English speaking skills through interactive learning.

The English Speaking Club (ESC) is designed for international students who want to enhance their conversational English skills. It's a social, fun and relaxed setting where everyone is encouraged to talk, share their experiences, practise their speaking, improve their confidence to talk in public and successfully interact with others.

The English Speaking Club program will offer online sessions via Zoom every Thursday.

Join ESC

You’ll meet new people online and make new friends while you practise your English and become a more confident communicator.

Weekly ESC sessions will help you:

  • improve your conversational English
  • become more confident when communicating with others
  • learn about Australian culture
  • network and make new friends
  • have fun!

As a bonus, undergraduate students get 10 Global Leadership Program (GLP) points for participation if they attend all ESC sessions across all weeks.

Postgraduate students are welcome to attend but not eligible for GLP points.
