Student social spaces

The MUSE building on Wally's Walk is a place to chill, study, debate, chat, eat lunch, meet with your student group or society and escape.

It is also the home of Student Connect, Campus Engagement, Women Room, Queer Space and Accommodation Services.

Each level of MUSE is custom-designed as a social learning and student group space to give Macquarie students a place where the boisterous, social atmosphere of cafes runs head first into the quiet study ambiance of the library.

    Bassline (Level 1)

A creative environment that gives students a place to think, to be inspired, and to enjoy serendipitous encounters and social learning opportunities. That's what university life is all about.

    MUSE (Level 2)

A mixed quirky space that offers most of your student services such as Student Connect and Career services. It's also a social study space that allows you to study with friends without the noise restrictions.

  • MAZE lounge space

    MAZE (Level 3)

A brand-new space for student groups to connect, co-create, and engage with the wider student body. The space is an open design plan which offers student groups meeting spaces, event spaces and breakout zones which foster positive social experiences.
