The program for Careers and Employability Week is packed with sessions that make it easy for you to prioritise your own career success.
There’s something for everyone:

- Students looking for a part-time job
- Recent graduates ready to launch
- Diverse students who need workplace support
- International students who need to know more about Australian workplaces
- Students pursuing an academic or research career …
- and especially students who want to be as employable as possible during their Macquarie experience.
Pick out the sessions that interest you and register early.

Learn about employability skills are and why they’re important; how to record evidence of your skills to make your CV/ resume stand out; and activities to help grow your skillset. We will also show you some of the important resources available to you at MQ.
1pm – 2pm | Successful Start Ups – The Essential Skills to Get You Started

Kickstart your thinking about what you'd like to gain from your PACE experience and gain practical tips and resources for self-sourcing an internship/designing a project for your PACE unit.

1pm – 2pm | Dynamic Support for Students with Disabilities/Health Conditions

The Australian Network on Disability (AND) is offering students with disability the opportunity to intern and to be mentored by leading and forward-thinking organisations. This information session will outline the eligibility requirements and benefits of the programs that are available for students with disability.
2pm – 3pm | Demand for Humanities skills: What do business leaders think about these skills in the workforce?

Delivered by the Faculty of Arts, this is an excellent chance to find out what employers are looking for in humanities graduates.
