Most students undertake a PACE unit activity within the local Sydney area. If you are keen to explore further afield there is no shortage of options. PACE has partner organisations across Australia and in over 25 countries around the world.

Here's what one student had to say about her PACE International experience:

PACE International is a must in a life time...One comes back transformed. Words don't do this project justice, it's the experience that will truly leave an impact.

Cost

PACE activities in Sydney do not usually incur additional costs beyond the unit fees. However, the cost of travel to and from a local host organisation will be your responsibility.

In 2021, PACE activities with organisations located in regional Australia or overseas will continue to have an online engagement focus. This ensures that valuable and innovative collaborations can be ongoing in the context of COVID-19 and travel restrictions.

In line with this, PACE regional travel grants and PACE equity grants will not be available in 2021. However, students might be eligible to receive a New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant for certain online PACE activities with organisations based overseas. OS-HELP loans are aimed at assisting students while studying overseas although the awarding of these is likely to be impacted by travel restrictions.

Please see the New Colombo Plan website for more information about the virtual (online) delivery of activities and eligibility requirements.
