Professional and Community Engagement Program

As a Macquarie University undergraduate student, you can complete an innovative PACE placement alongside your academic studies.

PACE opportunities

As part of your PACE unit(s), you'll complete a practical learning activity which might include any of the following:

  • internship
  • practicum
  • fieldwork
  • community development project
  • collaborative research project
  • industry project

Depending on your PACE unit, you may be:

  • allocated into an activity automatically
  • offered a choice of activity options
  • required to apply for a local, regional or international activity
  • asked to arrange your own activity
