Returning to campus
8 April 2021

Find out about all the steps the University is taking to ensure your safe return to campus.
As COVID-19 restrictions are being eased by the New South Wales Government, Macquarie is getting ready for a large-scale return to campus for Session 2.
Onshore students are encouraged to attend classes on campus and make the most of its facilities, including the new Central Courtyard space and accommodation blocks.
The following instructions continue to apply so coming back to university is safe for our community:
- Anyone who does not feel well, is advised to take a COVID-19 test, is awaiting test results, or has been instructed to isolate by New South Wales Health should not come to campus.
- Personal hand hygiene measures must be followed to minimise the chances of transmission.
- Physical distancing of 1.5 meters should be kept where possible. If it is not possible, wearing a face mask is recommended.
For students who are offshore, online classes will continue to be offered while the global vaccination programs advance and further Federal and State governments decisions on border restrictions are taken.
We welcome you to campus once again!
