Applications for Lucy Mentoring Program 2021 now open

Female students from the Macquarie Business School can apply until Tuesday May 11 to become mentees.
This leadership program aimed at second-year and above female undergraduate, Masters and MBA students has opened applications for those interested in being empowered to set career goals and become future leaders.
Chosen participants will be placed under the guidance of an experienced mentor who will immerse them in their work environment, discuss business issues with them and help them get career ready.
If you are interested in participating in this five-month program, you must:
- identify as female
- be enrolled in the Macquarie Business School
- be in your second year or above of undergraduate studies (Postgraduate Masters students including MBA welcome to apply)
- be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or international student
- have a minimum WAM of 70
- commit to attending events and completing the program during the specified dates
- commit to assisting future Lucy participants
have leadership and communication skills
Preference may be given to students in their penultimate or final study year.
To apply, all you need to do is send an email to christine.nichols@mq.edu.au, attaching:
- your CV or resume
- your academic transcript (this will not be sent to your mentor)
- a statement indicating:
- why you want to be part of the Lucy program
- what you’re hoping to achieve (eg what are your goals for the program)
- what you would like your mentor to help you with
- your anticipated final session and final year at Macquarie
Applications will close on Tuesday May 11 at 5pm.
