As an Equity Ambassador, you’ll be working with Year 7 students from partner schools in Western Sydney to help improve their literacy skills and foster discussion about post-school pathways and opportunities for success.

In this paid position, you’ll be assisting with the delivery of a literacy program in Year 7 English classroom, facilitating discussions about post-school opportunities and possible ‘future selves’, and accompanying students in a University Experience Day on campus at Macquarie.

We are open to applications from Macquarie University students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. We are looking for students from all faculties and disciplines, with a range of passions and hobbies, to provide a diversity of inspiration for high school students.

Don’t worry, you don’t need a teaching background to apply, you’ll be attending training workshops before being allocated schools.
