Female students can join this mentoring program to learn more about the role of women in technology and build relationships with Cisco professionals.
Applications for the Cisco MentorMe Program are now open to female students. This program aims to inspire, motivate and educate women on the unique roles available for them in technology.
Participants will be paired with a mentor and attend 30-minute virtual weekly meetings for 9 weeks where they can shadow, build on existing skills and learn about the various career pathways in IT. In addition to mentor meetings, participants will need to attend mandatory 2-hour Group Sessions.
The Cisco MentorMe program for 2021 will commence on Thursday, 26th of August (Kick off Session) till the 21st of October (Graduation). Successful participants will obtain a graduation certificate and become part of the exclusive MentorMe Alumni group at Cisco.
It is important to note that MentorMe does not form part of the Cisco job application process and therefore, there is no guarantee of securing employment at the end of the program.
