Hampers for international students

We're partnering with Oz Harvest to provide free food relief hampers for our international students.

COVID-19 Update

In order to support the Macquarie International Student Community, we signed a new partnership with Oz Harvest to provide free food relief hampers for our international students in need every Friday from 12:30pm to 2pm.

Be advised that you can only collect the hamper if you live within 5km from Campus or within the LGA City of Ryde.

Any suburbs or Local Government Areas identified as locations of concern cannot attend campus for the distribution. For more information, visit the NSW Government page.

We encourage you to check emergency food assistance for international students of Study NSW for delivery options or Macquarie University's Support Website for food assistance around Sydney.

This is in accordance with the current COVID-19 restrictions for Greater Sydney.

Every Friday, 12:30pm – 2pm
18 Wally's Walk (beside MUSE)

Pick up a free hamper on Friday every week from 18 Wally's Walk (beside MUSE) near Wally's Coffee Cart. We cannot ensure everyone receives one so please arrive promptly. No prior registration is required, just bring your student card.

Please note, the Oz Harvest hamper is packed in a paper bag and weighs 10 kilograms so come prepared.

Each student will need to wear a mask, register via a QR code on arrival at the time of collection, and leave Campus immediately after the distribution.
