Creating an inclusive space at Macquarie

The Queer Room is a safe space on campus for students and staff who identify as lesbian, gay, queer, intersex, asexual and sex/gender diverse (LGBTQIA+).

Location: Ground Floor, 18 Wally’s Walk, Macquarie University
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm

Whether you want to relax, study, socialise, or are simply looking for a community where you feel safe to be yourself, this is an inclusive space that welcomes you.

Facilities in the Queer Room include:

• a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge
• couches
• information and resources on a range of topics.
