‘Healthy living’ means maintaining a healthy lifestyle and introducing habits that improve health. It can be difficult to change old habits, but there are steps that can be taken to become healthier.
Healthy living incorporates what you eat and drink, your sleeping habits, your level of physical activity, your sexual health and mental wellbeing. Being healthy is not about looking a particular way but rather feeling fit/fitter, physically, mentally, and emotionally, and being able to maintain it. Lifestyle is driven by habit. Important first steps in living well are identifying negative habits and learning new, positive ones to replace them.
