Making your med journey fun

The Macquarie University Medicine Society (MUMS) was formed to support students during their medical journey. We provide advocacy, social events, academic support and professional development.

MUMS was established in 2018 by the inaugural class of the Macquarie University Doctor of Medicine (MQMD) program. We are the peak representative body for MQMD students, advocating for our students on local, state and national platforms.

As a society, we aim to foster our students' passions by enabling them to make the most of their time in medical school. MUMS has made leaps and bounds in our inaugural year, largely due to the passions and efforts of our students.
