Affiliation

All MQU Sport clubs need to affiliate with Macquarie University in January each year. To complete the MQU Sport Club affiliation process, each club must complete the MQU Sport Club Affiliation Form and provide a signed copy of the MQU Sport Club Affiliation Agreement.

The affiliation form requires club information including:

• Club Committee Details and Contacts
• Membership Types and Number of Members
• Copy of Club Constitution
• Most recent AGM minutes
• Insurance information
• Club Asset Register
• Financial information

Any questions regarding affiliation should be directed to sportclubs@mq.edu.au.

Re-affiliation

All existing MQU Sport Clubs will be provided with an email in November / December each year to commence the process of re-affiliation.

Forming a New Club

Participants interested in forming a new club must submit a proposal to MQU Sport for consideration. This proposal should address a number of criteria will be assessed for sustainability and meeting both University values and student demands.

All proposals for new MQU Sport Clubs should be sent to sportclubs@mq.edu.au.

Make a donation towards a Macquarie University sports club by completing and submitting the form below. Remember to:

1. select 'I am particularly interested in supporting Macquarie University in the following area'
2. specify the name of the sports club in the box underneath.

To book facilities at the Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre, including venues, BBQ hire, or one of our sport fields, contact sportbookings@mq.edu.au.

Claimants must:

• be a Macquarie University sports club member at the time of the incident occurring
• submit the following form within 30 days of the incident occurring
• email the completed form to sportsclubs@mq.edu.au.

Club members can request a refund. The Club needs to approve the refund in writing to Macquarie University Sport before any refund will be processed.

All refund requests need to be completed via the online form.

The sponsorship form is a contractual agreement between U@MQ (Campus Life) on behalf of the sports club and the sponsor.

You must provide a draft copy of the agreement to the Sport Club Coordinator for review before having it signed by the sponsor.
