My Legal Mate provides Macquarie students free 24/7 access to legal resources in seven different languages – English, Mandarin, Hindi, Korean, Portuguese, Thai and Vietnamese.
My Legal Mate was developed by Redfern Legal Centre, drawing on their experience of providing legal advice to students. Legal information is provided via on-demand video content and Q&A modules.
The information in the app focuses on the issues most likely to affect students:
- employment
- accommodation and housing
- serious issues such as sexual assault.
Through this app you can get immediate and free legal information.
Access
All current Macquarie students have free access to My Legal Mate app.
If you are an International Student, complete the Study NSW sign up form to get access to the app.
