We understand that you may face a range of unique challenges during your time at Macquarie and we’re help to and support you through them.

If you are sick and need to see a doctor, contact the Macquarie University Clinic on 02 9812 3944 to book an appointment. Outside the clinic’s hours, the closest doctor is at the Macquarie Medical Centre.  

If you’re feeling homesick or upset, Macquarie offers free online and in-person counselling and psychological services. Contact Campus Wellbeing on 02 9850 7497.

If you would like to pray there is a multi-faith prayer room located in E3A and a chaplaincy service to provide religious and spiritual support for all faiths and religions. The chaplaincy service is located on level 4 of building C5C.

If you would like to improve your English, Macquarie’s English Language Centre offers a range of courses. The free English speaking club is student-run and encourage you to practice with a group of other students.

If you would like help with finding a job, the Career and Employment Service has information and resources about finding work in Australia.

To keep you safe, Macquarie has many security services including an emergency line which is 02 9850 9999, 22 emergency help points, and an after-hours security escort service available. To arrange for an escort call 9850 7112.

If you would like some guidance with life on campus, visit the Student Connect hub which is located at 18 Wally's Walk, Building C7A, Level 2 MUSE. First year students also have access to Macquarie University Mentors which will help with the transition.
