HDR Learning Skills

In response to the COVID-19 situation, all HDR Learning Skills support will be delivered online until further notice. Most courses will be held on their scheduled dates via ECHO360 livestream or ZOOM. If you have registered for a course via the myRDC, you will be emailed the new arrangements.

Please email your HDR Learning Advisor or hdrlearningskills@mq.edu.au to book 1:1 appointments or to join an online research writing group, stating your program (PhD or MRes) and your Faculty/Department.

To receive announcements and access other resources, join the HDR Learning Skills ilearn unit.

HDR Learning Skills provides a range of support and training to equip research candidates with essential research skills. Candidates have access to a range of face-to-face courses and online training resources covering areas such as preparing a thesis, writing for publication, presenting at conferences, using software to handle qualitative or quantitative data, and managing a research project. Our aim is that research candidates at Macquarie University are well resourced, well supported and well informed in order to complete and present their research happily, on time and to the highest quality standard.
