Training, support and tools

Training, support and tools

Macquarie offers a number of support services to help HDR candidates through their candidature. We can help you hone your academic writing and learning skills, as well as support your wellbeing. Peer to peer support is available through our HDR mentoring program

The Research Enrichment Program aims to incubate current and future research leaders. The Office of Commercialisation and Innovation can provide assistance in commercialising and protecting your intellectual property.

Professional skills

Macquarie provides an HDR Professional Skills Program to help you understand the needs of employers across your industry. The Professional Skills Program can help you:

  • develop your professional skills
  • build networks
  • audit your existing professional skills
  • augment your high level academic skills
  • enhance your career opportunities

Enquiries regarding HDR training courses and support should be directed to HDR Professional Skills. Some parts of the program may attract a fee. You are encouraged to consult your faculty HDR office about funding options.
