Celebrating the many achievements of our students

The Faculty of Science and Engineering recognises the achievements of our students, specifically those who have attained scholarship places, succeeded in winning prizes or accomplished the highest results in each unit.

Here we celebrate the great achievements and dedication to learning within the fields of science, information technology and engineering.

We thank our fantastic staff, donors and partner organisations who make all this possible, support continued academic curiosity and foster a culture of excellence, developing the next generation of leaders, innovators, and scholars who will shape the future of science and technology.

Our most recent achievement event was held on 10th April 2025.

First In Unit Award 2024*

This award recognises students who have achieved the highest mark in a unit in a session **

The High Achiever Commendation is awarded to students that have been awarded two or more Faculty of Science and Engineering First in Units Awards at the time of graduation.

*  Known previously as High Achievers Award.

**Note that for both, students must be admitted to a MQ course and have received a high distinction grade. Units with fewer than 5 enrolments will be assessed on a case-by-case basis for an award.
