Our Secondary program is recognised for its emphasis on the notion of the scholar-teacher, its promotion of reflective classroom practice, and its innovative evidence-based Professional Experience program. There are two main patterns of study leading to a secondary teaching qualification.
The first pathway integrates a student’s academic and professional studies within a double-degree program, either the BABEd(Secondary) or the BA – Psych BEd(Secondary). The second pathway is a graduate entry program, the Bachelor of Education (Secondary).
In these programs Teacher Education Students complete an academic major in their intended teaching area together with the professional requirements for secondary teaching. Learn more.
