Changing your course at the College

A course transfer can allow you to change from your current course to a different course at Macquarie University College.

For a full list of all currently available courses, check the MQ College Handbook and select 'Pathway'.

Before you apply

Here are some things to be mindful of before you apply to change your course:

  • You need to meet with an MQ College Student Advisor by the end of Week 3 of the current Term before applying.
  • To book your meeting with a Student Advisor, use the link in the College Newsletter, sent to your student email each week.

Quick tip: Check the MQ College Important Dates so you don't miss the deadline

To be eligible you must:

  • be admitted to a Diploma course at Macquarie University College
  • not be on Academic Pause
  • have no active sanction that prevents you from study (eg. Exclusion)
  • not be in the final Term of study in your current course, and
  • have at least one Term of study left in your new course

You cannot transfer into a course you have completed all the units for.
