Student group events
To book barbecues, space for promotional events, rooms, etc. you must fill in an event request form on MacSync. Campus Engagement will ensure that the area is available for the event requested.
Please submit an event request form at least five working days before the event. Always factor in time needed to advertise your events when booking.
Holding events on campus
You will need to submit an event request form on MacSync to hold events on campus. The ‘Create an Event’ option can be found under the 'Events' tab of your student group portal.
Holding events off campus
If you want to hold student group activities off campus you will need to submit an event request form on MacSync. This will be reviewed by Student Engagement Officers. You may be required to arrange a meeting with Student Engagement to clarify details of the event.
You can advertise your events on the events calendar and posters throughout the University and in the designated spaces on Wally's Walk.
You can request to print any A4 or A3 posters by completing the printing request form in MacSync under the ‘forms’ tab of your student group portal.
