The Viseisei Sai Health Centre (VSHC) has been set up in collaboration and consultation with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Fiji College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences (CMNHS) at the Fiji National University as a centre of excellence in Primary Health Care and Community Medicine. The mission of Viseisei Sai Health Centre is "to provide a community health service by mobilising resources and collaborating with the community, government and NGOs to provide free, quality health service with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention."

Viseisei Sai Health Centre aims are to:

  • meet the identified health challenges in Fiji especially for poor communities
  • empower the community with awareness and education in health as well as disease prevention.

Activity cost: $1800

Cost includes: In-Country support, In-country Orientation, Accommodation, Airport Transfers, Breakfast each day

Cost excludes: Flight to destination, Laundry, Visa, Personal expenses, Unit tuition, Other meals other than Breakfast

PACE Travel Grants (subject to eligibility): $900-$3000
