The purpose of the Quality Brands Protection Committee of China is:

  • to make contributions to facilitating and promoting continuous improvements of administrative and judicial protection for intellectual property in China
  • to enable the judiciary to better serve guiding function of predictable and consistent judicial protection for intellectual property
  • to perfect the legal framework and to constructing a fair and orderly environment based on rule of law for economic growth
  • to foster an open innovation environment for science and technology development through strengthening cooperation with China’s central and local government, relevant agencies, institutions, academia, media, enterprises and the international community.

Activity information

Location: Beijing, China

Timing: Winter Vacation (June - July), Session 3 (December - February)

Duration: 4-5 weeks

Number of students: Approximately 2

Students preferencing QBPC in their application must:

  • Be fluent in Mandarin Chinese
  • Be able to attend the compulsory pre-departure training on 28 October at 4pm
  • Understand that there will be a slow-down in business activities around the Lunar New Year period (end-January)
  • If selecting PACE360, contact paceinternational@mq.edu.au to obtain information about PACE360 to ensure their eligibility to enrol in it
  • If selecting PACE360, understand that the actual activity may not necessarily align with the degree program they are doing

Activity Cost

Each activity incurs an Activity Cost to cover in-country costs. The Activity Cost is dependant on the location, work requirements, timeframe and duration of your activity. Additional costs, not included in your activity cost, are paid for directly by you. Financial support is available through grant funding.
