Macquarie’s unique PACE (Professional and Community Engagement) program engages you in real world learning activities with organisations across Australia and around the globe. Through PACE you gain that all-important practical experience employers really value.
How does PACE work?
All Macquarie Bachelor degrees include at least one PACE unit. A practical activity is the highlight of the PACE unit. The activity gives you an opportunity to explore key economic, social and ethical challenges by seeing first-hand how contemporary organisations address them. You get to contribute your knowledge, ideas and a fresh perspective to real-world projects that support the host organisation’s mission and objectives.
How is PACE different?
The scope and scale of PACE at Macquarie sets it apart from practical experience offered at other Universities. We have a vast network of over 2,500 host organisations both within Australia and in 25 countries around the world. We’ve embedded PACE units into all academic disciplines and all our Bachelor degrees. It means that no matter what you are studying, or where you are headed, you get the benefits of PACE. That makes all the difference.
What are the benefits?
PACE offers extensive benefits to help you build your skills and capacity to adapt in a rapidly changing world. Take the first step towards your future career and gain the skills to help you stand out from other graduates.
