Macquarie offers an undergraduate co-operative education experience known as Co-op. Participation in the Co-op program improves your employability outcomes and builds your professional networks.

Co-op provides an opportunity for you to alternate between classroom studies and workplace experience in the form of 3- or 6-month vocational placements. A Co-op experience allows you to apply the concepts learned in the classroom in a professional setting for a period of time that encourages meaningful participation in projects and activities. When you return to campus you are encouraged to integrate your workplace experience and understanding back into your future studies.

Co-op program graduates are highly regarded by employers due to the depth of practical work experience and the tangible skills gained through the program. Co-op can exponentially enhance your employability.

Planned Co-op program offerings

The Co-op program will commence in 2018 with a combined Bachelor of Actuarial Studies/Bachelor of Professional Practice.

A range of combined degrees with the Bachelor of Professional Practice in other disciplines is planned for future years.
