Forms and evidence
You need to retain evidence of your experiential activities in order to claim them towards your GLP. To assist you with this, we’ve prepared the below forms to help you keep track of your hours and approved events when claiming for credit.
Students should keep adequate evidence of their experiences as outlined in the Experiential Credit Table. You can find this table in the UG Experiential Credit Guide.
For seminars and workshops with the Macquarie Careers and Employment Service or other careers events, you are required to take the following form to the event and have Careers staff sign it, in lieu of a formal letter confirming your attendance.
On/off campus seminars and conferences
For other on or off campus conferences or seminars, you need to take the following form(s) to the event and have the organisers sign it, in lieu of a formal letter confirming your attendance.
Competition, mooting or organisation of an event timesheet
For competitions, moots or the organisation of an event, you must keep a timesheet of your hours, in addition to a formal letter verifying your participation.
For internships and volunteering it is helpful to keep a timesheet of your hours, in addition to a formal letter verifying your placement.
As a postgraduate GLP student, you will participate in two seminars each session you are enrolled in the Program. You can find out more about the two seminars in the PG Seminar and Cross-Cultural Practicum Guide.
You need to submit evidence of attendance at each seminar, so print off the below form and take it along with you to be signed by the organisers of the seminar.
For internships and volunteering for your Cross Cultural Practicum it is helpful to keep a timesheet of your hours, in addition to a formal letter verifying your placement.
Study Abroad and Exchange
As part of the Global Leadership Certificate, you will attend a GLP approved event during your exchange at Macquarie. You can find out more about the GLP approved event in the Study Abroad and Exchange Program and Policy Guide.
You need to submit evidence of attendance at the event, so print off the below form and take it along with you to be signed by the organisers of the event.
An online GLP Guidebook is available to all GLP students after they attend a Welcome Session. The guidebook is an essential resource for students and includes important information such as:
- Program outline
- Colloquia and think tank descriptions
