Macquarie has an ongoing commitment to providing an outstanding student experience. We offer administration services designed to answer a huge range of student and staff questions. Students can access these services online, in person or by phone. These services are provided by Student Connect centrally as well as Faculty Student Centres.
Faculty Student Centres
Faculty student centres offer specialised advice on whether your program of study is meeting your personal needs. Your Faculty Service Centre can give you specific information on what's happening in your faculty and program advice on whether your study plan works for you.
Faculty of Arts

Faculty of Business and Economics
Business and Economics Student Services (BESS) is a drop-in centre that assists FBE students with:
- Program advice and degree planning (by appointment)
- Enrolment advice
- Assignment submissions and retrieval
- Processing applications and requests including:
- Special Consideration
- Special approval
- Exchange program study plans
- Internship requests
- Requests to undertake more than 14 and 16 credit points in a session
- Electronic confirmation of enrolment (eCoE) extension
- Request to reduce study load

AskMQ is an online service that provides quick and simple answers to all your questions about life at Macquarie. You can access it from your computer, tablet or smart phone. AskMQ answers questions for:
- Future domestic and international students
- Current domestic and international students
- Current staff for HR enquiries
OneHelp is Macquarie’s university-wide online IT request system. It is an interactive, self-service request tracker. You can use it to log IT issues and requests and monitor them to completion through automatic email notification and status updates. You can easily raise and track IT and non-IT requests directly on OneHelp.
