Macquarie has an ongoing commitment to providing an outstanding student experience. We offer administration services designed to answer a huge range of student and staff questions. Students can access these services online or in person. These services include:

Student Connect is your first point of contact for enquiries about your life at Macquarie. Student Connect focuses on providing advice to students in-person, but can also be reached online or by phone.

AskMQ is an online service that provides quick and simple answers to all your questions about life at Macquarie. You can access it from your computer, tablet or smart phone. AskMQ answers questions for:

  • Future domestic and international students
  • Current domestic and international students
  • Current staff for HR enquiries

Faculty Student Centres

Faculty student centres offer specialised advice on whether your program of study is meeting your personal needs. Your Faculty Service Centre can give you specific information on what's happening in your faculty and program advice on whether your study plan works for you.

Faculty of Arts

The Faculty of Arts Student Centre offers support for students and course and degree-specific advice.

Faculty of Business and Economics

Business and Economics Student Services (BESS) is a drop-in centre that assists FBE students with:

  • Program advice and degree planning (by appointment)
  • Enrolment advice
  • Assignment submissions and retrieval
  • Processing applications and requests including:
  • Disruption to studies
  • Special approval
  • Exchange program study plans
  • Internship requests
  • Requests to undertake more than 14 and 16 credit points in a session
  • Electronic confirmation of enrolment (eCoE) extension
  • Request to reduce study load

Faculty of Human Sciences

If students have questions relating to their program or units, they can submit an enquiry through AskMQ with the subject title 'Attn FOHS Student Centre' or visit the Faculty of Human Sciences Student Centre to get advice, make an appointment or arrange to be contacted by a program specialist.

Faculty of Science and Engineering

The Faculty of Science and Engineering Student Centre is a drop-in centre for students who are taking units in the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

OneHelp is Macquarie’s university-wide online IT request system. It is an interactive, self-service request tracker. You can use it to log IT issues and requests and monitor them to completion through automatic email notification and status updates. You can easily raise and track IT and non-IT requests directly on OneHelp.

There is one entry point into the tool, ensuring the ability to pass tickets between each business unit when necessary. You use your OneID to enter.
