Expect to complete
You should submit an I Expect to Complete form via ask.mq.edu.au in your final year of study, nominating when you want to be assessed for completion of your award.
You will be assessed for completion after the exam results are released.
If you meet all award requirements you will be qualified. A Completion Letter will be emailed to your student email address within 2 business days of qualifying.
Once qualified you will be emailed a Conferring of Degrees invitation inviting you to attend a graduation ceremony or to collect your graduation documents.

Upon being qualified to graduate, you will receive a Completion Letter. Please note that this letter is a notification of your completion and you will need to wait until you receive the Conferring of Degrees invitation for details of your ceremony as well as modifying your attendance in eStudent.
Conferring of Degrees invitation
Your graduation is an exciting milestone - a memorable day to celebrate your time at Macquarie University and the completion of your course.
If you are eligible to graduate, your Conferring of Degrees invitation will be sent to your student email account approximately six weeks before your ceremony date. The invitation will address relevant information regarding your graduation ceremony.
All North Ryde undergraduate and postgraduate students who qualify for an award by 9 February 2018, and research degrees completed at North Ryde that are qualified by 13 February 2018 will graduate, either in person or in absentia, at a graduation ceremony during April 2018. The Conferring of Degrees invitation confirming the date and time of the ceremony will be sent to student email accounts in early February 2018.
All North Ryde undergraduate and postgraduate students who qualify for an award from 14 February to 27 July 2018, and research degrees qualified from 14 February to 14 August 2018 will graduate, either in person or in absentia, at a graduation ceremony during September 2018. The Conferring of Degrees invitation confirming the date and time of the ceremony will be sent to student email accounts in early August 2018.
